Arusha Serena Hotel Nkoanrua, Nkoanrua

My stay at Serena was enjoyable overall, with spacious and clean lodges, and a lovely restaurant offering tasty meals. However, the distance between some cabins and the main building could be a bit inconvenient. The restaurant and bar area were great for unwinding, and the facilities looked well-kept.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful with beautiful grounds and a generous room. The dining was certainly a highlight, especially the dinner we enjoyed—one of the best meals of our trip. Although we didn’t get to explore much, the hotel left a great impression. However, the limited dinner options on the prix fixe menu could be improved.

This hotel is a true hidden gem, located about an hour from Kilimanjaro airport. The ambiance is peaceful and the individual cabins offer great privacy. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The dining experience was excellent with reasonable prices, although a swimming pool would have been a fantastic addition. Overall, it’s a place I'd happily return to.

My stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and caring. Our group felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless and had a great ambiance. A couple of areas showed some wear and tear, but overall, it was a delightful experience. I would’ve loved to stay longer, but I did miss a bit more in terms of on-site activities.

I had an amazing experience at this lodge while on a northern Tanzania wildlife safari. The rooms were spacious, clean, and I loved the beautiful garden paths leading to my room. Although one staff member was a bit grumpy and made some errors, the overall service was still impressive with high-quality food and a wonderful setting. I wish I could have stayed longer to really soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the dining options.
